Freddy Koenig released several records in the 1960's under different aliases such as Freddy Koenig and the Jades, Pure Jade Green, Weavils and Freddy Karl and the Jades. I love his version of "Ain't That Loving You Baby". It has a fast moving beat with harp. The numbers and symbols in the dead wax shows that it is a Monarch Pressing from 1964 . Additional information about Freddy Koenig and his music can be found here

ReplyDeleteHi.Just needed to take a break from posting for a awhile. I still like looking and digging up the old vinyl records. Its a hobby I enjoy, it's my the blood. Maybe my post of these obscure records will stir conversation and bring enjoyment to other people. Most of all I just want to remember the artist who created the music. This is how it should be. It's all about them. To answer your question "Yes" As the year proceeds I am hoping to post several 45's of lesser know bands, mostly from the 1960's. As always thank you for your comments. I hope you have a good day.
ReplyDeletekeep on digging mate! (that was your pal Michaelvee from Milano)... I'll prepare for Artyfacts #6 !!!
